The Wharfe

The Wharfe room is conveniently located on the ground floor by the main entrance and can accommodate up to 40 people. It is ideal for group activities including meetings, smaller parties, bridge sessions, training classes and demonstrations.
It measures 9 metres by 4.8 metres. it is located on the ground floor and has a toilet and a small kitchenette adjacent.

The Chevin
Size

Up to 40 depending on set up.
The Chevin room is located on the first floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs. The room enjoys a great deal of natural light having windows to three sides and has lovely views towards the Chevin and over Miss Porritt’s field.
There is a toilet and small kitchenette located on the half landing.

Hall

157 with theatre style seating or up to 180 informal set up.
The main events hall measuring 17 metres by 9 metres. The stage is 9 metres by 4.5 metres fully extended.
The Hall is ideal for many activities including theatre productions, parties, badminton, exercise classes, formal and informal functions, and larger or public meetings and presentations.
Adjacent to the hall is a kitchen and foyer area which can be used as a bar. Toilets can also be accessed directly from the main hall.

Library

Outside of the Library’s opening hours, the space is available for hire. It has movable bookshelves that create a space of approximately 5 metres by 5 metres.
This light and airy room is ideal for musicians, choirs and other meetings. It is located on the ground floor and has access to male and female toilets.

The Centre can offer an events package which includes:
